What about Plastic Foil?

Plastic foil is not recycled. To distinguish the two from each other, do the scrunching test. If you scrunch the foil in your hand, it should stay that way, but if it springs back to its original form when you open your hand then you are holding plastic foil.

How to recycle?

• Clean the foil by removing any food particles then scrunch the foil so that it does not take up much volume. It is also easier to recycle that way.

• Flatten it when it is dry.

• Put it in your recycling bag.
